Power Supply: Precaution for Antec PCI-E Cable Use September 30, 2021
Before you build your ideal PC, here's the precaution for Antec PCI-E cable use. The PCI-E header provides power to the GPU. A single cable usually contains 2 x 6+2pin headers. Recently, the power consumption of high-end GPUs increases. Therefore, we highly recommend if the model of GPU requires 200W or above, we suggest you use 2 or 3 6+2pin headers to power on your GPU.

If the model of GPU requires 200W or above, we suggest you use 2 or 3 6+2pin headers to power on your GPU (See recommended figure 2)
Attention:
-If the GPU contains two headers, we suggest using 2 PCI-E cables to provide power for each 6+2pin header.
-If the GPU contains three headers, we suggest using 3 PCI-E cables to provide power for each 6+2pin header to avoid high power consumption causing damage to the individual cable.
